Terms of Service
1. Acceptance of Terms
By subscribing to, accessing, or using JackWeather ALERTS, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service and all applicable laws. If you do not agree, you must immediately deactivate your alert subscriptions.
2. Ownership & Intellectual Property
The JackWeather ALERTS service, including its interface, proprietary algorithms, data feeds, alert configurations, and all associated content, is the exclusive property of JackWeather and Base44. You may not copy, modify, distribute, or create derivative works from any part of the service without prior written authorization.
3. Data Accuracy & Disclaimer
JackWeather ALERTS aggregates data from third-party sources, including the National Weather Service (NWS) and other meteorological providers. While we strive for accuracy and timeliness, we do not guarantee that alert data is complete, current, or error-free. Weather conditions can change rapidly and without notice. You acknowledge that JackWeather ALERTS is an informational tool and should not be your sole source for life-safety decisions.
4. Delivery & Latency
Alert delivery depends on third-party networks, carrier infrastructure, and device settings. JackWeather and Base44 are not liable for delayed, failed, or undelivered notifications. We do not guarantee real-time or uninterrupted delivery of any alert.
5. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, JackWeather and Base44 shall not be liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from the use or inability to use the service, including but not limited to property damage, personal injury, or loss of life resulting from reliance on alert data or delivery failures.
6. User Conduct
You agree not to misuse the service, including attempting to reverse-engineer, overload, or disrupt its operation. Admin-issued alerts must comply with all applicable laws and must not contain false or misleading information.
7. Modifications
JackWeather reserves the right to update these Terms at any time. Continued use of the service after changes constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
